Massachusetts Historical Commission To meet the challenge of preserving the state's important heritage, the Massachusetts Historical Commission (MHC) was established by the legislature in 1963 to identify, evaluate, and protect important historical and archaeological assets of the Commonwealth.
1749 Courthouse Located in downtown Plymouth, MA, it is the oldest wooden Court House and the longest used municipal building in America. A great repository of local history and houses some of the artifacts from Parting Ways.
